Elements and Performance Criteria

1. Plan and preparework
   • Safety issues related to operating and monitoring fuel supply plant are identified, in accordance with workplace procedures and Work, Health and Safety (WHS)/Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and legislative requirements
   • Work requirements are identified, in accordance with workplace procedures, from appropriate personnel and documentation
   • Documentation to determine fuel supply plant status is assessed and evaluated, in accordance with workplace procedures
   • Inspection and field preparation for fuel supply plant service are carried out, in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturers' recommendations
   • Fuel supply plant operational prerequisites are established, in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturers' recommendations
   • Sequence for recommissioning of fuel supply plant is determined to suit existing circumstances, in accordance with workplace procedures and site requirements
2. Work requirements are identified, in accordance with workplace procedures, from appropriate personnel and documentation
3. Documentation to determine fuel supply plant status is assessed and evaluated, in accordance with workplace procedures
4. Inspection and field preparation for fuel supply plant service are carried out, in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturers' recommendations
5. Fuel supply plant operational prerequisites are established, in accordance with workplace procedures and manufacturers' recommendations

7. Operate fuel supplyplant

8. Fuel supply plant is monitored to detect deviations from normal operating conditions, in accordance with workplace procedures
9. Corrective actions are taken to rectify fuel supply plant abnormalities, in accordance with industry standards and workplace and manufacturers' procedures
10. Test fuel supplyplant operation
    • Operational tests are performed, in accordance with workplace procedures
11. Fuel supply plant is observed, in accordance with workplace procedures for correct operational response
12. Corrective action is taken, in accordance with workplace procedures, when response does not meet with documentation, fuel supply plant integrity or personnel safety requirements
13. Fuel supply plant is returned to required operational status upon completion of test, in accordance with workplace procedures
14. Analyse fuel supplyplant faults
    • Causes of abnormal fuel supply plant operating conditions are identified, in accordance with workplace procedures, and by analysing technical and operational information
15. Corrective action is taken, in accordance with workplace procedures
16. Fuel supply plant integrity and personnel safety are maintained, in accordance with workplace procedures, and in consultation with appropriate personnel and technical and operational documentation
17. Monitor and inspect fuel supplyplant
    • Fuel supply plant to be monitored and inspected is physically identified, in accordance with workplace procedures
18. Fuel supply plant is monitored and inspected, in accordance with workplace procedures for normal operation or to detect deviations
19. Appropriate personnel are notified, in accordance with workplace procedures when defects are detected
20. Complete documentation
    • Fuel supply plant problems, movements, abnormalities and status are reported, in accordance with workplace procedures
21. Documentation is updated, in accordance with workplace procedures
